Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2016] Function: May be involved in transcriptional regulation. Subcellular Location: Nucleus. Post-translational modifications: Phosphorylated upon DNA damage, probably by ATM or ATR. Similarity: Contains 27 C2H2-type zinc fingers.
